Terms of Service

The service

Horizon lets you track subscriptions you enter yourself, follow billing cycles, and optionally capture receipts from an inbox you connect.

Horizon does not pay your bills, does not connect to your bank, and does not guarantee that a merchant will or will not charge you.

Accounts

You must be at least 16. You must use a real email and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Do not share your password.

Your content

You keep ownership of the subscription data, notes, and mailbox content you provide. You give Horizon a license to host, process, and display that content only to operate the service for you.

You confirm you have the right to connect any mailbox you connect.

Acceptable use

Do not break the law with the service, probe or disrupt it, access another person's account, upload malware, or use an inbox connection to read mail you are not allowed to read. Do not resell Horizon or scrape it in a way that degrades the service.

Plans and payment

Free includes core tracking up to the subscription limit shown on the pricing section of the homepage. Pro is the paid plan. Prices are shown before you pay. Taxes may be added by the billing provider.

Pro is billed by Clerk Billing, which uses Stripe. Horizon does not store your full card number. Cancel from the billing page. Access to Pro ends when the billing provider says the paid period ends.

Refund requests go to support@horizonsub.app. Where the law requires a refund, we will follow that law.

Inbox and AI

Inbox connection and receipt parsing are optional. Parses can be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for checking amounts and dates before you rely on them.

Horizon is not a party to your contracts with the merchants you track.

Availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not promise uninterrupted service. We will not take away a period of Pro you have already paid for except for non-payment, fraud, or a serious breach of these terms.

Intellectual property

The Horizon name, visual design, and software belong to the operator. You may not copy the product or the brand to offer a competing service. Service logos shown in the app belong to their owners and are used to identify a subscription you entered.

Disclaimers

The service is provided as is. Tracking data can be incomplete because you entered it, because a receipt parse failed, or because a merchant changed a price. Horizon is not a financial advisor, an accountant, or a payment processor.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Horizon and Tarek Zein are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for money lost because a subscription renewed, a parse was wrong, or a reminder did not arrive.

If we are liable, the total is limited to the amount you paid Horizon in the three months before the claim, or fifty US dollars if you paid nothing. Some places do not allow these limits. There, they apply only as far as the law allows.

Ending the service

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or creates risk for other people.

Sections that should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, liability, and contact, survive.

Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page with a new effective date. If you keep using Horizon after that date, you accept the update. If you do not accept it, stop using Horizon and delete your account.

Disputes and contact

Email support@horizonsub.app and describe the problem. We will try to resolve it with you directly.

These terms do not choose a country or a court. Until a venue is added here, start with that email address. These terms are the whole agreement about Horizon and replace earlier understandings about the same subject.
